I may of found my dream device. Cmotech Mangrove looks like everything I need in an ebook reader. Also a nice web surfer on the side.

What my past devices lacked, screen size, heaviness, too thick, uncomfortable to hold and on my last device WinCE just isn't as good as windows mobile for this type of device.

This may all be addressed in the Cmotech Mangrove. A 7 inch screen that supports Windows Mobile 6.5. I didn't realise how much I would miss windows mobile until I switched to a WinCE device. Other big musts have for me is having buttons for next page, previous page, etc.... There are many devices out that loose the buttons, so you use your fingers or stylus to get around on it. I like buttons!

Also battery life is usually a deal breaker on most of these types of devices. I forgot to say but the Smart q7 while the power management sucks in it, it does last the longest of any device I have owned, probably around 8 hours. It takes longer to recharge it, though. The Cmotech Mangrove is boasting 8 hrs on par with the Smartq7 so that's great!

The only sticking point will be price. I am so hoping they won't be such a crazy price that I won't be able to justify the purchase to myself. We don't know yet.

A short video of it:

It's lighter and slimmer than the Smartq7 but same size screen. This really could be it depending on price.

Time will tell. Can't wait to get more news on the Cmotech Mangrove. As I feret out more information I will post it.

That's all for this post of The Ebook Reader
