The Ebook Reader blog is primarily dedicated to finding good lcd ebook reading devices. But I think this is worth a mention here. Amazon Kindles can now be read on the pc. I was very much against the Amazon Kindle, mainly because you couldn't buy a Kindle ebook unless you owned a Kindle and they were always cheaper than the average ebooks on other sites.
I am glad Amazon is finally opening it up for the pc. I hope a Windows Mobile and WinCe version comes out. I know the Iphone has an application already to run kindles. Never been into Iphones so didn't pay that much attention.

Now we can all enjoy Kindle ebooks.
But could this be the final death of Mobipocket? Amazon owns mobipocket, which they used on there Kindles they just changed the drm. I liked Mobipocket and it was my ereading program of choice. But the windows mobile version of it was so outdated and a few annoying bugs didn't seem were ever going to be fixed which was why I started looking for another ereading program and finally found the best one I've used in Alreader.
